Boombap-Maestro Figub Brazlevic ist zurück! Als einer der angesehensten Instrumental-HipHop-Produzenten der Welt ebnete er mit seinen Boombap-Krachern vor allem in Deutschland den Weg für die Renaissance des neuen Golden Era-Sounds, ohne dabei altbacken zu klingen. Inzwischen hat sich das Subgenre weiterentwickelt und ist unter dem Begriff Jazzhop etabliert. Und auch der Maestro selbst hat sich weiterentwickelt, wie sein neues „Kaseta De Ouf“ eindrucksvoll beweist. Die smoothen Songs sind exzellent produziert und eignen sich perfekt zum Entspannen und Mitnicken.
WICHTIG: Der Mix auf dem Tape unterscheidet sich in weiten Teilen von der Vinyl Version. Beatpete hat den Mix erstellt und hat im Grunde genommen die damaligen „Roh“-Versionen der einzelnen Instrumentals von Figub bekommen. Für die Vinyl hat Figub nicht nur die Versionen verändert, er hat auch auf der Vinyl Instrumentals hinzugefügt. die nicht auf der Tape Version enthalten sind und umgekehrt.

IMPORTANT: The mix on the tape differs significantly from the vinyl version. Beatpete created the mix and essentially received the original “raw” versions of the individual instrumentals from Figub at the time. For the vinyl release, Figub not only changed the versions, he also added instrumentals to the vinyl that are not included on the tape version — and vice versa.
