“Wenn Der Vorhang Fällt” is a documentary film about the recent renaissance in german hip hop culture and more specifically about the effects new technologies have had on it’s industry. In the movie, OG’s of the german rap game talk about how things have changed for them over the years and how they continue to keep the balance between artistry, humanity and being a produkt. Shout out to Michael Münch for overseeing the production of this flick.
The movie comes with a banging soundtrack including german rap classics as well as brand new tracks and remixes. The compilation project boast an impressive line up of legends such as Marsimoto, Toni L, Stieber Twins, Die Fantastischen Vier, Prinz Pi, Samy Deluxe, Roger & Schu (Blumentopf), Main Concept, Don Philippe & DJ Friction, MC Rene, Chefket, DJ Koze, Samy Deluxe, Dead Rabbit & Falk-Schacht aka Hawkeye!!
